What are the responsibilities and job description for the Lead Spray Foam Installer position at Zander Solutions, LLC?
Job Summary
Zander Solutions is looking to add an experienced installer to their field team located in Verona, WI. As a Lead Installer, you would be expected to consistently perform high-quality spray foam insulation installations on commercial and residential buildings as well as identifying and correcting spray foam issues and providing coaching to general laborers.

Essential Job Functions:
Application of insulation and spray foam systems:
- Prepare surfaces by cleaning, repairing, and ensuring they are suitable for the application of appropriate materials.
- Apply materials on both residential and commercial buildings to create a protective barrier from external elements.
- Ensure that the application of materials adheres to industry standards and project specifications per Zander Solutions’ inventory sheets.
- Maintain a clean jobsite during and after application of spay foam and insulation materials.
Equipment and Fleet Maintenance:
- Perform routine cleaning and maintenance on pumps, sprayers, and other equipment to extend the life of the systems.
- Ensure Zander vehicle is stocked and clean at the start and end of each workday. Report any issues to manager.
Collaboration and Communication:
- Daily communication with Zander Solutions’ Site Lead, Operations Manager and Coordinators with job progress updates and/or issues.
- Work closely with other on-site General Contractors to integrate spray foam and insulation measures into the overall building timeline and process.
Safety:
- Prioritize safety during all job activities, including the use of personal protective equipment and adherence to safety regulations.
Job Qualifications & Evaluation

Education:
- High school diploma
Experience:
- 2 years’ experience in spray foam installation. Preference is for experience in both new construction and retrofit applications.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
- Knowledge and correct usage with a variety of hand tools.
- Ability to perform labor-intensive tasks, including lifting heavy objects and working in confined spaces.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to work independently and take initiative when needed.
Licenses & Certifications:
- Valid and Insurable driver’s license.
Physical Requirements and Work Environment:
- Prolonged periods of walking, standing, stooping, climbing, kneeling, and crawling.
- Comfortable with working both indoors and outdoors.
- Working environment may be subject to high temperatures, confined spaces, dust/dirt, hazardous chemicals, and heights.
- Must be able to lift 50 pounds frequently.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $30.00 - $40.00 per hour
Schedule:
- 8 hour shift
- Weekends as needed
