MACHINE OPERATOR Bandsaw & Toolroom Lathe
First Shift 6am to 3pm M-F
About the position:
We are seeking an operator to run the Automatic Bandsaw to cut aluminum bars down to smaller pieces so they are ready for the Mills and Lathes and run a CNC Toolroom Lathe. You will be working with aluminum, plastic and stainless steel to make simple parts.
Job Duties include, but not limited to:
Ability to select, lift, carry, and stack product weighing between 30 and 50 pounds. The ability to stand up to a total of 8 hours, with breaks while occasionallybending, stooping, and twisting and do repetitive work for 2 to 4 hours at a time.
There is an anti-fatigue mat at the machines, as well as a stool if needed.
Drug Free Workplace:
We are a Florida Drug Free Workplace. The company requires all employees to complete a pre-employment 10 panel drug screen; employment status will be dependent on ability to pass this screening and partake on a quarterly random screen.

- Set up and operate the two machines assigned to the station and run jobs
- Must be able to work off of blueprints
- Must be able to accurately use shop math in checking parts
- Perform basic maintenance to the machines (clean and maintain, no mechanical repairs - weekly and monthly coolant maintenance)
- Maintain all paperwork associated with producing the part and maintaining company records
- Observe all safety policies and procedures and operate in a safe manner
- A minimum of 2 years experience operating CNC machines and automatic bandsaws
- Working knowledge of Algebra, Geometry and can do metric to imperial conversions
- General knowledge of G-code and M-code
- Fluent in GD&T and machining blueprint reading
- Skilled in part inspection and accountable to quality of parts
