We are seeking an experienced Principal Electrical Engineer to join our team. This is a full-time position that involves leading the electrical portion of engineering projects, including developing electrical design packages and completing electrical reports, calculations, and studies.
The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 10 years of experience working with multidiscipline project teams specific to engineering and at least 3 years of leadership experience. A Bachelor's Degree in a Science-related field or equivalent experience is required, along with a Professional Engineering License.
The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the electrical portion of engineering projects, developing electrical design packages, completing electrical reports, calculations, and studies, and responding to questions from the field team during construction. They will also review vendor and contractor bids and assist in procurement, and ensure quality of engineering deliverables by reviewing them for correctness and constructability.
We offer a competitive salary range of $124,800.00 - $161,200.00 and a comprehensive benefits package, including medical insurance, dental insurance, vision insurance, 401(k), accrued PTO, short-term and long-term disability, basic life / AD&D, voluntary life / AD&D, employee assistance program (EAP), and AFLAC.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the electrical portion of engineering projects.
- Develop electrical design packages, including load lists, one lines, circuit schedules, lighting, grounding, cable tray, underground plans, layouts, area classification, 3D model review, and project lead reports.
- Complete electrical reports, calculations, and studies.
- Respond to questions from the field team during construction.
- Review vendor and contractor bids and assist in procurement.
- Ensure quality of engineering deliverables by reviewing them for correctness and constructability.
Salary : $124,800 - $161,200
