Purpose of the Role
We are looking for an Electrical Engineering intern to join our small, dynamic team for the summer. The selected candidate will have the opportunity to work on various tasks, including designing and developing electrical systems, writing firmware, and preparing design reviews. This role requires strong analytical and technical skills, as well as the ability to communicate effectively as part of a cross-functional team.
Main Duties and Responsibilities
- Contribute to the design and development of electrical systems related to the ZAP-X delivery system.
- Write and test firmware in C using MPLAB or Visual Studio IDE.
- Develop and present design review materials to justify proposed approaches and solutions.
- Create schematics using Altium Designer and assist with the assembly of PCBAs as needed.
- Apply relevant industry electrical standards in design and development tasks.
