We are seeking a versatile Lab Technician / Test Engineer to support our engineering team in developing cutting-edge battery technology and electronics. This role combines the responsibilities of a lab technician and a light test engineer, involving hands-on work with electronics, including soldering, as well as creating documentation and databases for internal and external use. The ideal candidate has a strong foundation in electronics, experience with testing and assembly, and proficiency in documentation tools like Word and Excel. This role can be part time or full time, depending on availability.
Responsibilities
- Assemble and rework electronic components, including soldering, crimping, and creating wire harnesses.
- Conduct tests on circuit boards and electronic systems, logging results and generating test reports.
- Develop and maintain spec sheets for internal and external use.
- Create and manage internal databases using Excel and Word for documentation purposes.
- Assist with troubleshooting and diagnostics of electronic systems.
- Support the team by maintaining lab equipment, organizing supplies, and ensuring smooth lab operations.
- Collaborate with engineers to support testing and development projects.
