Job Description :
Seeking an experienced Senior SDET (Software Development Engineer in Test) for managing entire Behavioral Driven Development and Test-Driven development discipline for globally delivered multi-tenant APIs in travel vertical.
Ideal candidates need airline domain knowledge specifically NDC services
Responsibilities :
- Responsible for designing, implementing, and executing comprehensive test strategies to ensure the reliability, scalability, and performance of the product.
- Responsible for building backend API test automation for microservices
- Responsible for understanding end to end functionality of the product and build test automation.
- Ensure assigned tasks are completed in a timely manner and communicated to appropriate team members.
- Assists the dev team as an SDET to improve quality in early cycles of delivery through some standalone performance testing.
- Implement QA process and Automated testing for all the work streams to improve the overall testing cycle
- Responsible for Regression testing, end to end Integration testing of product to be delivered.
- Experience with continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI / CD) pipelines using tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI, or similar platforms.
- Performs in-depth research to define the cause of the problem and offers direction to the development team to resolve the problem.
- Must be customer focused, goal oriented, and have a passion for success.
- Work closely with developers and / or product support representatives to reproduce, isolate, and resolve product anomalies or design issues
- Need to work closely with Product Managers and current testing leads to come up with test scenarios that can be automated.
- Will engage with global teams and scrum master to demonstrate product being built for every sprint.
- Will be self-driven, motived and takes pride in automating quality aspects of software.
