Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Veterinarian to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality medical care to a variety of animals, ensuring their health and well-being. This role requires a strong understanding of veterinary practices, animal physiology, and effective communication skills to interact with pet owners and staff.

Duties

  • Conduct thorough examinations of animals to diagnose health issues and develop treatment plans.
  • Perform surgeries and medical procedures as necessary, including animal catheterization.
  • Administer vaccinations and medications, ensuring proper dosages and techniques.
  • Provide emergency care and critical care for animals in need.
  • Maintain accurate medical records and documentation using veterinary terminology.
  • Educate pet owners on animal care, nutrition, and preventive health measures.
  • Collaborate with veterinary technicians and support staff to ensure efficient clinic operations.
  • Stay updated on advancements in veterinary medicine and participate in continuing education opportunities.

Qualifications

  • Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree from an accredited institution.
  • Valid veterinary license to practice in the state.
  • Strong knowledge of animal husbandry, handling, and care techniques.
  • Familiarity with laboratory procedures related to animal diagnostics.
  • Experience in dog handling and working with various animal species is preferred.
  • Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with clients and team members.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
  • A commitment to providing compassionate care to all animals.

Pay: $85,000.00 - $130,000.00 per year
