POSITION OVERVIEW

The Employer Marketing and Communications Manager is a crucial role on Zarminali's Marketing and Communications team supporting the growth of a brand-new healthcare brand with a focus on the team member experience to grow brand awareness and loyalty, as well as fueling talent acquisition and clinician recruitment. This is a unique opportunity for an experienced marketer interested in being one of the first team hires, partnering with the leaders of the Marketing and Communications and People teams to build and lead the internal communications and recruitment marketing workstreams from the ground up.

SALARY: This position is offering a salary range from $85,000 - $105,000, depending on geographic location and prior experience.

WHAT YOU'LL DO:

  • Create, support, and execute marketing and communications activities in the following areas by working with enterprise and local teams:
  • Employer Brand
    • Continue building out the employer brand, ensuring that it aligns with the overarching Brand Strategy and that the employee value-proposition is clear from recruitment through retention.
    • Collaborate with the People team to develop materials and communications plans related to benefits, well-being, and overall professional growth and development.
    • Manage career section of website and other external owned marketing channels that inform the employee journey.
    • In partnership with the People team, build out reputation management strategy on key external hiring websites, such as Indeed and Glassdoor.
    • Support marketing and communications storytelling engine by developing inspiring team member and clinician stories.
  • Recruitment Marketing
    • Marketing strategist that supports the Clinician Recruitment team in their efforts to draw top physician and advanced practice clinician talent, as well as the Talent Acquisition team as they recruit for non-clinician roles at both the enterprise and local levels.
    • Support creation of needed recruitment materials for a variety of channels through collaboration with agency partner(s).
  • Internal Communications
    • Develop the internal communications framework and channel strategy to build engagement among Zarminali Health team members.
    • Part of this work will include building out the intranet, managing content development with SMEs, and setting up the framework for ongoing management to ensure it becomes a valuable resource for associates.
    • Partner with the broader Marketing and Communications team to develop the internal communications needed to launch external marketing plans.
    • Work with cross-functional teams to craft change communication plans and supporting materials as needed.
    • Demonstrate how team members meet patient needs and support the business through compelling written storytelling that can be shared on internal and external channels.
  • Culture Building
    • Partner with the People team to develop and roll-out communication around programs that support engagement, well-being, and overall professional growth and development.
    • Develop creative, multi-channel communication strategies for specific employee populations that reach them 'where they are at' and measure the effectiveness of campaigns to adjust as necessary.
  • As part of growing team, support other duties as assigned.  
WHAT YOU'LL NEED:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Communications, Marketing, or Related Field.
  • 3 years of experience, ideally within the healthcare marketing and communications field. Prior experience in a healthcare startup environment a plus.
  • Demonstrated experience in digital communications channels.
  • Strong writing and editing skills, comfortable with AP style guide.
  • Exceptional stakeholder engagement skills with a hyper-focus on client experience
  • Experience in high-growth environments with the ability to handle shifting priorities and multitask in a loose-structure, high-expectation environment.
  • Passionate about creating value for your "customers" and have exceptional interpersonal skills for developing and managing relationships with stakeholders.
  • Confident and ability to remain calm under all circumstances and can establish rapport quickly with all levels of diverse staff members.
  • Self-motivated achiever who thrives in an environment both working independently and being part of a highly collaborative team.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail – you realize that 'the little things' can make a big difference.
  • Comfortable working independently exercising exceptional judgment, demonstrating initiative, and making informed decisions with limited direction.
  • Strong organization and time management skills, which allow you to be comfortable establishing new direction, managing rapid change and shifting priorities.
