Pediatric Advanced Practice Clinician (NP/PA)

Zarminali Pediatrics
Sartell, MN Full Time
POSTED ON 4/23/2025
AVAILABLE BEFORE 5/22/2025
Zarminali Pediatrics is building the nation's leading pediatric multispecialty group, focused on supporting families to shape healthy futures for their children – from birth through adulthood – by completely transforming the way pediatric care is delivered nationwide. We are tackling today's challenges of increased administrative burden on clinicians and a siloed approach to pediatric care through intentional design of care delivery, enhanced by leading technology and collaborative, expert care teams.

Our name, inspired by our founder's daughter's name – Zarmina – means "something that is more precious to you than gold". We couldn't think of anything that better represents the way parents and caregivers hold the relationship with their children as the most valuable gift, and how we at Zarminali approach care for each child with equal reverence.

We strive for a healthier future for pediatric patients and a happier future for pediatric clinicians nationwide, and we are looking for people to join us in achieving this vision. If you are eager to join a growth stage company and be part of the early team that is shaping the foundation of both the company and the delivery of pediatric care, then this opportunity might be for you!

POSITION OVERVIEW

Zarminali Pediatrics is seeking compassionate and dedicated advanced practice clinicians to join our foundational team in Sartell, Minnesota. In March 2025, Zarminali Pediatrics acquired Sartell Pediatrics, a well-established and trusted name for over a decade. Now united under the Zarminali name, we are building on Sartell Pediatrics' strong community roots to shape the future of pediatric care in the region and state. You will play a vital role in advancing the health of children while fostering a supportive environment for our patients, families, and community.

WHAT YOU'LL DO:

As an advanced practice clinician at Zarminali you will focus on:

  • Patient Care: Delivering exceptional care by diagnosing, treating, and creating personalized care plans tailored to each child's needs, while being responsive to acute concerns.
  • Growth, Development & Preventative Health: Monitoring children's physical and emotional milestones, offering early intervention and educating families on preventive care for healthy growth and development.
  • Patient & Family Education: Supporting families throughout the full spectrum of the pediatric lifecycle, providing guidance and compassionate care from infancy through adolescence, fostering healthy development, and empowering families with the knowledge they need at each stage.
  • Documentation: Maintaining accurate and up to date patient records, adhering to best practice in documentation and healthcare regulations.
  • Collaboration: Work alongside Pediatricians, support team members and other healthcare professionals to deliver coordinated and comprehensive care.

WHAT WE LOOK FOR:

We seek advanced practice clinicians who want to be a part of something bigger and thrive in an environment that balances independence with collaboration and support. We recognize that clinicians wear multiple hats – care team quarterback, leader, mediator, translator – and our goal is to support and partner with them so they can effectively care for our patients. We are looking for clinicians who are excited about team-based care and who embrace these traits in their delivery of patient care:

  • Communicator: Manages communication with and across patients, families, and caregivers, fosters team collaboration and addresses communication gaps to ensure effective care management.
  • Advocate: Supports patients and families and meets them where they are while leveraging resources to ensure coordinated and seamless care.
  • Collaborative: Fosters team collaboration to maximize patient care, mentorship, and professional growth.
  • Tech-Forward: Embraces technology to streamline workflows, reduce administrative burden, and improve patient care and communication.
  • Growth-Orientated: Fosters growth and learning for patients, families, and colleagues through innovation, adaptability, and skill development.
  • Family First: Respects families' decisions, provides evidence-based care, and aims to keep patients in mainstream settings.

WHAT YOU NEED:

  • Master's degree in nursing or a related field, as well as a certification as a Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA)
  • Current and unrestricted license to practice in Minnesota
  • Current and unrestricted Minnesota DEA license
  • Comfortable working in a collaborative, non-hierarchical, team-based environment
  • Empathy towards patients, families and caregivers
  • At least 2 years of experience working in a pediatric setting
  • BLS/ACLS Certification

WHAT WE OFFER:

  • Enjoy a balanced work life schedule with four in-clinic days and one dedicated administrative day each week, allowing time for charting, managing inbox tasks, continuing education and more.
  • Be a part of a team-based environment focused on providing high quality pediatric care within a mission drive organization.
  • Access to continuous learning, skill development, and career advancement within a supportive and dynamic culture.
  • Competitive compensation package with performance incentives
  • Work in a newly designed and advanced clinic that emphasizes patient comfort and top-notch care in a welcoming and calming environment.

At Zarminali Pediatrics, we are committed to our empowering clinicians and team members to deliver better pediatric care, altogether. This commitment requires building an inclusive culture and a team that represents the diverse communities we serve.

We believe that when people from all backgrounds, experiences, and perspectives come together, we create a stronger team and better care for our patients and their families. We realize the importance of an environment where clinicians and team members feel cared for, supported, and valued. We believe in the basics: treating everyone with kindness, respect, and fairness.

We do not tolerate discrimination or harassment of any kind. This includes, but is not limited to, race, color, sex, gender, age, religion or religious creed, national origin, ancestry, citizenship, marital status, sexual orientation, gender identity, gender expression, genetic information, physical or mental disability, military or veteran status, or any other characteristic protected by law.

We recruit and hire based on skills, talent, and potential, ensuring everyone has a fair chance to succeed. Together, we strive to build an inclusive and welcoming space where we can achieve our goal of building a happier future for the pediatric workforce.
