Sanitation Supervisor

Role: To ensure sanitation routine and cleaning schedules are completed in a manufacturing & warehouse environment.

Essential Job Responsibilities:

The following duties are general and particular to this position. Responsibilities may vary based on the needs of the business.

• Supervise a team of associates over 2 shifts.
• Create/assist in weekly schedules for the team.
• Responsible for the following:

· Adherence to cleaning and sanitation plans for the bakery.

· Abide by standard operating procedures for proper sanitation.

· Monitor all cleaning schedules (daily, monthly, quarterly) to meet food safety requirements.

· Conduct sanitation inspections of equipment, machinery, and production facilities.

· Completion of all records and submission to QA manager for review.

· Provide feedback to the department when needed in conjunction with QA and Production Managers.

· Be an advocate for the company’s culture for safety.

· Prepare for and participate in third-party and regulatory audits.

· General cleaning of all items in the dish room using a combination of machine and/or 3 bay sinks.

· Use appropriate cleaning methods to complete tasks (this could include electric floor scrubber, manual scrubber, mopping, sweeping, wiping, etc.).

· Assist production staff with breaking down lines, cleaning and resetting equipment.

· Adherence to waste and chemical control procedures.

Physical Requirements:

· Must be able to lift and carry up to 50lbs.

· Ability to maintain regular punctual attendance.

· Perform job functions in hot and/or cold environment.

· Ability to stand for extended periods.

· Required to squat, reach, bend, pull, push, or be otherwise physically engaged during the shift.

General Skills, Knowledge, and Abilities:

· Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred.

· Job training provided.

· Multitask and work with a sense of urgency.

· Work with independence following the daily routine & task list.

· Ability to read English and legibly complete all required paperwork.

Summary

As a Sanitation Supervisor, you will oversee the cleanliness and sanitation standards within our facility, ensuring a safe and hygienic environment. Reporting to the QA Manager, you will utilize your core skills in cleaning and supervising to lead a team effectively. Your premium skills in management and leadership will be essential in training staff and implementing best practices. Bilingual proficiency in Spanish and English will enhance communication within the team .

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.00 - $24.00 per hour
