As we expand, we’re looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Project Engineer who can also support project administration to help keep operations running smoothly from bid to build.
Position Overview
As a Project Engineer, you will play a key role in supporting our project management team, ensuring the timely and successful delivery of roofing projects. This hybrid role includes technical oversight, document control, and administrative coordination. You’ll be involved in everything from pre-construction planning to close-out, working closely with field crews, subcontractors, and vendors.
Responsibilities
Project Engineering:

Assist with project scheduling, budgeting, and coordination

Conduct site visits to monitor progress and ensure quality standards

Review drawings, specifications, and submittals

Coordinate with field teams to track materials, equipment, and inspections

Help prepare RFIs, change orders, and punch lists
Project Administration:

Maintain project documentation and filing systems

Track and update project status reports and cost logs

Assist with subcontractor and vendor management (contracts, insurance, etc.)

Prepare and distribute meeting agendas, notes, and project communications

Support compliance with safety, permit, and quality control requirements
Qualifications

1–3 years of experience in construction, preferably commercial roofing

Degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field preferred

Proficient in Microsoft Office and construction management software (e.g., Procore, Buildertrend, or similar)

Strong organizational and communication skills

Ability to multitask and work under deadlines

Detail-oriented with a problem-solving mindset
