What are the responsibilities and job description for the Safety Coordinator position at ZARRELLCO?
Key Responsibilities:

Develop, implement, and maintain safety programs, policies, and procedures to meet regulatory requirements.

Conduct regular safety inspections and audits of construction sites to identify and address potential hazards.

Investigate accidents, incidents, and near-misses, and prepare detailed reports with recommendations for corrective actions.

Provide safety training and toolbox talks to employees, subcontractors, and other site personnel.

Ensure compliance with OSHA standards, local safety codes, and company policies.

Maintain safety records and documentation, including permits, inspection reports, and training logs.

Collaborate with project managers, supervisors, and contractors to promote a safe working environment.

Serve as a resource for safety-related questions and concerns.
Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Construction Management, or a related field preferred (or equivalent experience).

2 years of experience in construction safety role
- OSHA 10 required
Compensation: Base salary: $60,000 - $75,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications. Additional benefits may include health insurance, retirement plans, paid time off, and opportunities for professional development.
