Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Safety Manager to oversee and implement workplace safety policies and procedures across our construction sites. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of OSHA regulations, construction safety protocols, and the ability to foster a culture of safety within the organization. This role requires proactive risk assessment, continuous safety training, and ensuring compliance with all federal, state, and local safety regulations.
Key Responsibilities:

Develop, implement, and enforce company-wide safety policies and procedures.

Conduct regular site inspections and safety audits to ensure compliance with OSHA, EPA, and other regulatory standards.

Identify potential hazards and recommend corrective actions to mitigate risks.

Lead accident investigations, root cause analysis, and implement preventive measures.

Provide safety training and toolbox talks for employees, subcontractors, and new hires.

Maintain accurate records of safety incidents, training sessions, and compliance reports.

Coordinate with project managers and site supervisors to ensure safety measures are effectively executed.

Ensure that all required PPE, first aid, and emergency response procedures are in place.

Stay up to date with industry safety trends and regulations to continuously improve the company’s safety programs.
Qualifications:

3 years of Safety Manager experience at a construction company required

OSHA 30 required

CSP (Certified Safety Professional) or CHST (Construction Health and Safety Technician) certification is a plus.

Strong knowledge of construction site operations, equipment, and safety procedures.

Excellent communication and leadership skills to enforce safety policies and train employees effectively.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and safety reporting software.

Ability to travel to various job sites as needed.
