We are a General Contractor with ground up and TI projects throughout the Sacramento area, seeking a superintendent to join our team for February or early March.
Project Oversight
- Manage all on-site activities, ensuring construction progresses according to plans, specifications, and schedules.
- Coordinate daily operations with subcontractors, suppliers, and field personnel.
- Monitor and maintain project timelines, addressing delays and resolving issues promptly.
Team Leadership
- Supervise and mentor field staff and subcontractors, fostering a collaborative and productive work environment.
- Conduct daily and weekly meetings to review progress, goals, and safety protocols.
- Ensure subcontractors meet performance expectations and adhere to project requirements.
Quality Control
- Enforce quality standards and inspect work to ensure compliance with design specifications.
- Proactively identify and address potential issues to minimize rework or delays.
- Maintain thorough documentation of project progress, changes, and inspections.
Safety Management
- Ensure all on-site personnel adhere to OSHA and company safety policies.
- Conduct regular safety meetings and inspections to maintain a hazard-free job site.
- Promptly address safety violations and document corrective actions.
Coordination & Communication
- Work closely with the Project Manager to align field operations with overall project goals.
- Communicate regularly with stakeholders, including clients, inspectors, and project teams.
- Provide regular updates and reports on project progress, challenges, and milestones.
Qualifications
- Experience:
- 5 years of superintendent experience at a general contractor
- Ground up or TI project experience (commercial, state/federal, office, or retail exp)
- Proven track record of managing projects from start to finish successfully.
- Skills:
- In-depth knowledge of construction processes, methods, and best practices.
- Proficiency in project management software and tools (e.g., Procore, Bluebeam, MS Project).
- Strong leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
Compensation and Benefits
- Annual salary: $125-145K depending on experience
- Monthly vehicle allowance
