What are the responsibilities and job description for the Floor Tech PT and FT 5:30a-2:00p Days will Vary; Rotating Weekends position at Zarrow Pointe?
POSITION TITLE : Floor Tech
Must be physically and mentally capable of performing the duties required.
Should have at least one year of experience in a health care facility, and caring for floors.
Must be able to lift and / or move objects not more than 25 lbs.
SUPERVISORY CONTROLS :
This position reports to the Director of Housekeeping / Laundry.
PRINCIPLE RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES :
A minimum of twice a week, buff the healthcare hallways (North, South and West).
Mop and sweep the healthcare dining rooms a minimum of 3x a day or as needed.
Vacuum carpet area in Healthcare sitting areas (located at the end of each hall except West).
Remove recycle particles from the recycle bins on each floor in the Retirement Center.
A minimum of twice a week clean dust from laundry dryer vent or when needed.
Vacuum / Clean carpet on each floor in the Retirement Center (Floors 1-4).
Floor Tech tickets to be completed between the floor tech staff.
Gather trash from Villa on designated days of the week.
Daily cleaning of Floors – Town Center, front of Doctors Office, and Retirement Center.
Daily remove trash from each soiled linen rooms on each healthcare hall.
Daily remove trash from property trash can receptacles when weather permits.
Complete work order request for outside window cleaning, when weather permits.
Other floor tech projects when needed / requested.
OTHER PERTINENT FACTS :
Supervisor will supply work schedule.
Supervisor may sometimes assign employee to work in another position, other than their own, to maintain a reasonable completion of daily working schedules.
