Key Responsibilities:

• Precision Installation: Perform accurate installations of exterior and interior doors, meeting rigorous standards for fit, functionality, and weatherproofing.
• Quality Control & Inspection: Conduct thorough inspections of doors and components before and after installation to ensure alignment with our high standards for appearance, fit, and performance.
• Customer Service Excellence: Communicate effectively with clients on-site, answering questions, explaining installation processes, and ensuring a tidy, organized workspace upon completion.
• Technical Execution: Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and installation instructions, following all technical specifications precisely.
• Site Preparation & Cleanup: Prepare job sites before installation and maintain a clean, organized work environment throughout each project.
• Safety Compliance: Follow all safety protocols rigorously, using personal protective equipment and practicing safe work habits at all times.
• Documentation: Complete detailed installation reports, noting measurements, conditions, and any deviations to ensure accurate project records.
• Equipment Maintenance: Maintain tools, machinery, and vehicles in excellent working condition, conducting routine checks and promptly reporting any issues.

Qualifications:

• Experience: At least 3 years of hands-on experience in door installation, carpentry, or a similar trade, with a demonstrated portfolio of high-quality work.
• Technical Skills: Proficient in reading blueprints, schematics, and installation manuals; skilled in using a variety of power and hand tools for precise installations.
• Attention to Detail: Strong focus on detail and precision to achieve a flawless fit and finish.
• Customer-Centric Approach: Professional communication skills and a friendly demeanor to positively represent Zarsky Building Supply to clients.
• Problem Solving: Ability to troubleshoot and adapt to on-site challenges, with a commitment to quality solutions that meet client and company standards.
• Physical Requirements: Capable of lifting heavy materials, working at heights, and performing physical tasks in varied environments.
• License & Transportation: Valid driver’s license, a clean driving record, and reliable transportation to job sites.
• Collaborative Support: Be adaptable and open to assisting with additional tasks as assigned to support the evolving needs of the installation department and contribute to company objectives.

Expectations & Appearance: To represent Zarsky Building Supply professionally, all Installers are expected to adhere to appearance and uniform standards. This includes wearing a Zarsky-branded collared shirt, tan or grey shorts or khakis, a Zarsky-branded hat, and work boots for safety. Maintaining a clean, neat appearance and presenting a polished image on job sites is essential. Additionally, installers are responsible for ensuring that each job site is left in pristine condition upon completion, reflecting Zarsky’s commitment to quality and professionalism.

This includes refraining from any side work or business ventures in door installation or building materials that may compete with or impact Zarsky’s operations.
