Washing dishes, equipment and utensils : Kitchen porters ensure that equipment and dishes are cleaned, sanitized and ready to prepare and serve food.
Sanitizing kitchen surfaces : They sanitize counters, stovetops and other places where food is prepared to meet health regulations.
Inventory support : Porters help kitchen managers manage inventory by organizing food storage and telling them when items need to be ordered.
Receiving deliveries : Porters receive and unpack all deliveries, ensuring all food and supplies are correctly placed. Must be able to lift 40lbs
General cleaning : They sweep and mop the floors, wipe out trash cans, sweep parking lot change garbage liners and clean and organize food storage.
