General Managers are responsible for guiding their teams to create a positive culture and maintain high morale. They oversee daily restaurant operations, focusing on staffing, team development, sales growth, cost management, guest experience, and upholding brand standards.
Main Responsibilities
Ensure the restaurant delivers exceptional guest experiences.
Provide proper training and ongoing mentoring, coaching, and development to team members while holding them accountable for their performance.
Plan and delegate shift assignments, communicate expectations, and adjust as needed.
Maintain service, product quality, and cleanliness standards consistently.
Manage profitability through driving sales, controlling costs, developing team members, and ensuring operational standards are upheld.
Build community relationships and provide outstanding products and services to increase sales.
Control costs and losses by maintaining operational standards and ensuring compliance with all guidelines, policies, and procedures.
Complete performance reviews for crew members and assist with reviews for managers.
Maintain compliance with federal, state, and local laws, as well as company guidelines, policies, and procedures.
Utilize management tools and keep accurate records.
Review performance metrics daily and develop action plans to enhance system execution and improve profitability, sales, and guest experience.
Handle guest and team member complaints in a timely and respectful manner.
Maintain flexibility to perform duties beyond this position description.
Ensure a safe working environment and adherence to safety guidelines and procedures.
Perform other duties necessary for restaurant operations to function properly.
Requirements
Able to work flexible schedules, including days, nights, weekends, and holidays.
Possess leadership qualities, organizational skills, and ability to interact cooperatively with others.
3-5 years of management experience required.
Restaurant management experience preferred.
Working Conditions
