What are the responsibilities and job description for the Scheduling Assistant position at Zayachek Mechanical?
General Duties
- Notifies all field employees of work schedule, arrange hotel/flight/rental car information and updates weekly schedule and rooming lists with confirmations and posts on the outlook calendar.
- Negotiates contract/hotel rates.
- Reconciling/paying all hotel bills – finding billing discrepancies.
- Assist with New Hire and Annual Safety training program facilitation and implementation.
- Provide clerical and administrative support.
- Assist HR, Payroll and Logistics personnel.
Requirements
- The knowledge, skills and abilities typically acquired through completion of a high school diploma/ GED.
- 1-2 years of relevant work experience, preferably in a Human Resources or Office Management support role
- Computer literacy with knowledge of e-mail, Microsoft Word and Excel
- High degree of accuracy and excellent attention to detail.
- Display a positive attitude and professional image to co-workers, customers, the community and general public.
- Communicate effectively both verbally and in written form.
- Maintain confidentiality of information.
- Knowledge of Mechanical / Building Construction Trades a plus.
