We are seeking a dedicated and efficient Dishwasher to join our team in a fast-paced food service environment. As a Dishwasher, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the cleanliness and organization of our kitchen, ensuring that all dishes, utensils, and equipment are thoroughly cleaned and sanitized. This position is essential to the overall success of our restaurant/hotel operations, contributing to an exceptional dining experience for our guests.
Responsibilities
- Wash and sanitize dishes, glassware, utensils, pots, and pans using commercial dishwashing equipment.
- Maintain cleanliness of the dishwashing area and kitchen floors by sweeping and mopping as needed.
- Assist with food preparation tasks as required, including basic food handling and food service duties.
- Help with bussing tables during peak hours to ensure a smooth flow of service.
- Support banquet setups by cleaning and organizing dishware before events.
- Follow all health and safety regulations regarding food handling and sanitation practices.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely cleaning of dishes to support ongoing food preparation and service.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in a restaurant or hospitality environment is preferred but not required.
- Knowledge of food handling procedures and sanitation standards is a plus.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Strong teamwork skills with the ability to communicate effectively with kitchen staff.
