Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Floor Manager to oversee daily operations in our casual dining establishment. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in hospitality and restaurant management, with a focus on delivering exceptional customer service. As the Floor Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring that all aspects of the dining experience run smoothly, from managing staff to maintaining inventory control.
Duties
- Supervise and coordinate the activities of front-of-house staff, including servers, bartenders, and hosts.
- Ensure high standards of service and hospitality are maintained at all times.
- Manage kitchen operations and collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely food preparation and delivery.
- Oversee inventory control processes, including ordering supplies and managing stock levels.
- Utilize Clover POS system for efficient order processing and payment handling.
- Train and mentor new employees on service standards and operational procedures.
- Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and feedback to enhance guest satisfaction.
- Monitor compliance with health and safety regulations within the restaurant environment.
Requirements
- Proven experience in restaurant management or a similar supervisory role within the food service industry.
- Strong knowledge of kitchen management practices and casual dining operations.
- Familiarity with bar operations and beverage service is preferred.
- Excellent leadership skills with the ability to manage a diverse team effectively.
- Proficient in using Aloha POS or similar point-of-sale systems.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail for inventory control processes.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining composure under pressure.
