Position: Investment Analyst

Role Summary:
The Investment Analyst will join our investment team, providing key support in managing convertible securities portfolios. In this role, the individual will analyze securities, monitor portfolios, run trade allocations, conduct research, and prepare reports and presentations for internal and external stakeholders. Additionally, they will contribute to client engagement by serving as a product specialist, including writing investment commentary, market updates, and other client-facing materials that communicate research findings and portfolio insights.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct detailed analysis of securities, including structural analysis and valuation.
- Assist in portfolio monitoring and trade allocations.
- Research economic, industry, and company-specific data to support investment decisions.
- Help develop financial models and perform risk-return analyses on convertible securities and related products.
- Prepare and deliver reports, presentations, and market commentary for internal and external stakeholders.
- Actively monitor investments and help manage portfolio risk exposures.
- Collaborate with portfolio managers to identify investment opportunities and strategies.
- Provide general support to the portfolio management team as needed.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, economics, mathematics, or a related field.
- A minimum of 2 years of professional experience in finance or a related field.
- Advanced proficiency in Bloomberg, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Superior written and verbal communication skills.
- Highly detail-oriented with strong analytical and quantitative skills.
- Knowledge of convertible securities, derivatives, or structured products is a plus.
- Experience with SQL, Python, and data visualization tools such as Tableau is a strong advantage.
- CFA designation, MBA, or an advanced degree in finance is highly desirable.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
