Job Description
As the Infrastructure Director, you will be responsible for the successful planning, execution, and management of infrastructure projects, including the development of office spaces and warehouses. You will also oversee Help Desk operations utilizing ITIL best practices, manage vendor relationships, and ensure seamless warehouse operations. You will have hands-on experience with warehouse technology such as RF guns and Zebra printers to support operational needs.
Essential Role Functions
Lead Infrastructure Management: Oversee IT infrastructure across the organization in the US and Canada, ensuring alignment with business objectives and scalability.
Project Management: Lead cross-functional teams through all stages of infrastructure projects, from design to deployment, support, and optimization.
People Management: Lead, mentor, and manage a team of infrastructure professionals, providing guidance on technical challenges, best practices, and career development.
Infrastructure Optimization: Oversee the deployment of IT infrastructure to support office and warehouse environments, ensuring efficiency and alignment with operational needs.
Warehouse Technology Management: Develop and enforce processes for managing warehouse technologies (e.g., RF guns, Zebra printers), ensuring scalability, future-proofing, and proper device management.
Industry Trends and Training: Stay current with industry trends and advancements, providing staff with ongoing training to enhance their skills.
Cybersecurity Oversight: Monitor cybersecurity threats, ensure effective communication of security protocols, provide ongoing staff training, and implement hardening measures to safeguard IT infrastructure.
Help Desk Management: Implement and manage ITIL frameworks for Help Desk and support services to ensure seamless service delivery and issue resolution.
Vendor Management: Manage vendor relationships, including requests for proposals and contracts, ensuring service level agreements (SLAs) are met, and costs are controlled.
Infrastructure Build-Out: Lead the build-out of infrastructure for new office spaces and distribution warehouses to support business expansion.
Experience
Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field.
5 years in IT infrastructure management, with 2 years in a leadership role.
3 years in leading teams through infrastructure projects and managing IT operations for office and warehouse environments.
Strong understanding of cybersecurity practices and vendor management.
Exposure to ITIL frameworks for help desk and support services.
Technical Requirements
Knowledge of hardware, network architecture, and cloud services
Basic understanding of cybersecurity tools and practices.

Ability to manage time effectively and align IT strategies with business goals.
Schedule
Days: Monday through Friday with limited project and emergency support off-hours
Willingness to travel up to 20% within the US and Canada.
