Job Title: Foreclosure Manager
Location: Phoenix, Arizona (In-Office Position)
Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced Foreclosure Manager to join our team in Phoenix, Arizona. We are a regional law firm with a growth mindset and operations in several states. The ideal candidate will have deep industry expertise in mortgage default servicing, specifically in handling Arizona non-judicial and Texas foreclosures. This individual must be proficient with BKFS, LPS, Tempo, and other client portals commonly used in the industry. We are looking for a team player with a strong work ethic who is detail-oriented and can effectively manage foreclosure processes while ensuring compliance with industry regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Under the guidance of counsel, oversee the Arizona non-judicial foreclosure process from referral to sale, ensuring compliance with state laws and client requirements.
- Manage Texas foreclosure processes, including adherence to statutory timelines and regulatory requirements.
- Utilize BKFS, LPS, Tempo, and other client portals to track, manage, and process foreclosure activities efficiently.
- Ensure timely and accurate processing of foreclosure actions, working closely with attorneys, clients, and internal teams.
- Monitor foreclosure timelines and proactively address any delays or issues that arise.
- Maintain compliance with federal, state, and investor/insurer foreclosure guidelines.
- Provide leadership and support to other team members; create and share resources amongst team members.
- Prepare loan-level reports and updates on foreclosure status for senior management, clients, vendors, and internal teams.
- Work closely with other departments, including Title Claims, Loss Mitigation, Bankruptcy, and post-sale REO teams, to facilitate seamless default servicing operations.
- Stay current with industry regulations and changes affecting mortgage banking and foreclosure processes.
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years in mortgage default servicing, with specific experience in foreclosure management.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in BKFS, LPS, Tempo, and other relevant client portals.
- Regulatory Knowledge: Strong understanding of mortgage banking regulations, foreclosure laws, and investor/insurer guidelines.
- State-Specific Expertise: Demonstrated ability to process both Arizona and Texas foreclosures.
- Work Ethic & Teamwork: Strong work ethic, attention to detail, and ability to collaborate effectively within a team.
- Compliance & Screening: Ability to pass an initial drug screening and background check to meet financial industry requirements.
- References: Strong professional references that attest to experience and reliability.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience managing a team within the foreclosure or default servicing industry.
- Strong analytical skills and ability to identify process improvements.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
