DESCRIPTION
As a Designer, you will ultimately leverage your knowledge of professional design, strategic thinking, collaborative skills, and strong communication acumen to develop project designs and construction documents for single and multi-discipline projects. The responsibilities of this position include :
- Utilize experience and knowledge from coursework in the design of architectural / engineering projects.
- Generate project design and construction documents with oversight from senior staff for projects ranging from private residences to K-12 campuses and seismic retrofits of existing buildings to commercial developments.
- Utilize the applicable codes, regulations, and laws to preform code reviews and ensure project compliance.
- Assist on projects during construction through review and processing of RFI's, material submittals, and periodic on-site construction observation.
- Collaborate with project partners (in-house disciplines, owners, architects, sub-consultants, etc.).
