Join our dynamic technology team and help shape the future of financial services. We are looking for a motivated Software Developer with hands-on experience in Ruby on Rails and modern development practices. The ideal candidate will collaborate closely with business and technical teams to design, develop, and support robust software applications.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with onshore business and technical teams to design and develop new software applications and system enhancements.
- Perform unit testing to ensure quality and functionality of developed code.
- Document implemented designs, procedures, and user manuals for delivered solutions.
- Resolve production issues efficiently and support release cycles for new features and system updates.
- Adhere to software development best practices including version control, CI/CD, and code reviews.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree required (B.E. or MCA preferred); Computer Science/Engineering background preferred.
- 1 3 years of experience in software development.
- Proficiency in Ruby on Rails, Ruby, and object-oriented programming.
- Experience working with SQL databases such as PostgreSQL or Oracle.
- Familiarity with Git/GitLab, CI/CD pipelines, Docker, Kubernetes.
- Exposure to testing frameworks such as RSpec.
- Strong collaboration and communication skills; experience with pair programming and code reviews is a plus.
Preferred Qualifications:
- 3 5 years of professional software development experience.
- Additional experience in Java, RESTful API development, service-oriented design, and microservices architecture.
- Knowledge of messaging systems such as Pub/Sub.
