Position Description
We are working on a Portfolio Management System to build the next generation of systems using latest technologies and techniques and hence are looking for a software engineer to help drive the development.
Required Skills
Functional:
* Should have some experience in financial domain. Understanding of portfolio management functions is a plus.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills
* Strong data analysis skills and attention to detail
* Self-motivated individual and creative thinker who will take ownership of tasks and projects.
Technical:
* At least 5 years of hand-on DB2/SQL, Stored Procedures , COBOL,CICS and JCL.
* Experience on trading or financial services platform
* Working in Agile model (15 members team) and supports batch (rotational) along with DEV work.
* Good with technical knowledge (basics) – SQL Queries, Stored Procedure (native/external), error handling - Abends / SQLCODE , GTTs , DB2 and SQL Server, COBOL / CICS and JCL.
* Experience with MQ and XML Parsing.
* Good knowledge of Concurrency and high volume server side development
* Involvement in full Software Development Life Cycle of the project.
Rate range -$70-$74
