Role : IT Support Engineer
Location : Bay Area, CA. ( On- Site)
Essential Duties and Responsibilities :
- Provides technical support to end users by answering questions, troubleshooting problems, and maintaining workstation software stack and performance.
- Help desk support frequently asked questions / tasks details writing and maintaining documentation.
- Generates help desk tickets and document all support request issues and resolutions, monitors open tickets, provides update status to users.
- Creates / maintains computer software inventory and assists with the database for the computer refresh schedule.
- Maintains central file for licenses for software, computer hardware and related peripherals
- Troubleshoots and installs computer hardware and software programs.
- Build new systems and ship to onboarding users
- Default OS image configuration for new System Enrollments
- Follow up ad collect old / terminated user equipment, erase, cleanup , rebuild and repurpose
- User onboarding and offboarding management
- Managing devices using MDM stack like JAMF and Intune
- User roles management using Okta, Azure and AWS
- Server hardware rack and stack, cabling and OS installation
- Manage Asset records
- Manage lab servers and systems – includes : general hardware / software install, setup and maintenance
- Manage Help Desk tickets in a timely manner
- Respond to customer issues via phone, email and computer
- Follow up and maintain compliance requirements tasks under IT stack
