Title: Social Media Manager

Zeam Media is seeking a creative, strategic, and highly engaged Social Media Manager to lead and grow our organic social media presence across all platforms. This is a hands-on role for a true social native—someone who can think strategically about the big picture and also dive into the day-to-day details of execution. You’ll be the primary driver of Zeam’s social presence, managing everything from content strategy and creation to publishing and performance analysis. While you’ll collaborate with our design and broader marketing teams, this role calls for someone ready to own the process end-to-end.


You’ll develop platform-specific strategies that align with our brand voice and audience behavior, create scroll-stopping static and video content, and capture spontaneous moments—from behind-the-scenes footage to man-on-the-street interviews—that bring the Zeam experience to life. You’ll also be responsible for tracking performance, analyzing insights, and evolving the strategy to deepen engagement and grow our audience. As the voice of Zeam, you’ll shape how we show up in the world—connecting with viewers, creators, and partners through bold, authentic, and culturally relevant storytelling.


Key Responsibilities


Strategy Development

  • Lead the development and execution of a comprehensive organic social media strategy, including audience targeting, tone of voice, content mix, posting cadence, and platform prioritization for @Zeamlocal (all platforms), @ZeamNYC (Instagram & TikTok), ZeamMedia (LinkedIn), and support for @ChiefZeamer, our CEO’s personal channel.
  • Create and implement detailed social marketing plans to strengthen Zeam’s brand identity, increase engagement, and drive conversions.
  • Stay current on social media trends, platform updates, audience behavior, and competitive activity to continuously optimize content and strategy.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with marketing team, product, and PR teams to ensure social media strategies align with overall business objectives and brand identity.


Content Creation & Management

  • Produce and curate high-impact, platform-specific content—including graphics, videos, memes, and copy—that aligns with Zeam’s voice and resonates with our audience.
  • Manage a dynamic content calendar to ensure consistent, timely posting that aligns with brand campaigns, product launches, and cultural moments.
  • Capture and post real-time content, including behind-the-scenes footage and man-on-the-street videos, to bring Zeam’s brand to life.
  • Monitor social media channels for engagement opportunities, responding to followers and cultivating a loyal, active community.


Performance Analysis & Reporting

  • Use Sprout analytics to track performance metrics, uncover actionable insights, and identify growth opportunities.
  • Deliver monthly performance reports to the Chief Marketing Officer highlighting wins, key learnings, and strategic recommendations for scaling.


Skills and Qualifications


  • Proven track record in social media management and content creation, with a deep understanding of platform-specific strategies and audience behavior
  • Proficiency across major platforms including Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, YouTube, X, LinkedIn, and emerging channels
  • Hands-on experience with analytics and creative tools such as Sprout, Canva or comparable platforms
  • Excellent copywriting and communication skills, with the ability to shift between strategy, content creation, and community engagement seamlessly
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize and collaborate across departments
  • A self-starter mindset with a willingness to roll up your sleeves and take initiative in a fast-paced environment
  • Experience collaborating with high-profile talent, creators, or brand partners is a strong plus 
  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, or a related field preferred

  • Salary range $90,000 to $130,000, commensurate with experience
