Zebra Projects, Inc. is offering a unique and exciting opportunity to qualified candidates who would like to join our Scottsdale, AZ office. We are looking for a staff accountant that will be responsible for daily & month end accounting related to Account Payable and Accounts Receivable. This position will work closely with the Finance Manager in Scottsdale, AZ. The staff accountant should have a strong attention to detail and be comfortable working with multiple projects.
Key Responsibilities :
Manage accounts payable, monitor to ensure payments do not exceed contracts, and issue timely payments to all vendors
Monitor AP email box for Invoices, track and enter in ERP system.
Determine necessary GL coding and project on expenses for consistent record keeping
Maintain monthly AP accruals
Request and review vendor statements regularly
Credit Cards reconcile and book entries in ERP.
Maintain vendor list, W-9 verification, & 1099 vendor setup
Process check run & ACH payments
Manage accounts receivable, including customer invoicing including proper support and payments received
Prepare weekly AR Aging report, follow up on past due clients by sending a Statement of Accounts
Review and process accounting adjustments based on analysis and reconciliations of accounts within area of responsibility
Perform special projects / requests, as needed

Qualifications :
1-5 years of related work experience
B.S. Degree in Accounting or Finance
Strong PC skills in Windows-based environment. Working knowledge of the following software packages : Excel, Word, Outlook, MS Teams
Proven ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously
Strong interpersonal, analytical and leadership skills
High degree of proficiency in communicating both verbally and in writing
Deltek Vantagepoint ERP experience (preferred)
Experience with service-based business in Architecture / Engineering space (preferred)
