We are seeking an enthusiastic and motivated DevOps Engineer to join our fast-paced Advanced Location Service team which works closely with the professional sports industry. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining and improving our CI / CD pipelines, ensuring seamless and efficient deployments. You will also be involved in patching and updating servers to ensure optimal performance and security. This is a hands-on role that requires writing and maintaining automation scripts in Python and Bash to streamline workflows. As part of a small, agile team, you will have the opportunity to work closely with developers and other engineers to implement solutions that drive innovation and keep our systems running smoothly.

This is a hybrid role requiring you to be on-site in our Holtsville, NY location 3-days per week.

Responsibilities :

• Implements small and / or maintains medium-sized software build configurations using dedicated build systems (i.e. Dockers, Kubernetes, etc.)
• Implements small and medium-sized tasks in Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery of software products and components using dedicated systems (i.e. GitHub Actions, Jenkins).
• Implements smaller improvements or extensions for distribuable packages and maintains distribution of software components (i.e. with Conan, Artifactory).
• Creates basic backup plans and participates in implementing them.
• Understands disaster recovery procedures.
• Participates in implementation of security measure for software products.
• Participates in security assessments, certifications and maintenance.

Salary : USD 67000.00 - USD 100600.00 Yearly

Salary offered will vary depending on your location, job-related skills, knowledge, and experience.
