Applications Analyst - HL7 / XML / WLAN / Active Directory Hybrid On Site in Mather Ca / Remote

We have a 6 month contract, and potential contract to hire role open for a backfill position to support production tasks while a seasoned analyst is reassigned to high-priority projects within the LCOM WLAN initiative. The Application Analyst will provide application and data integration support, troubleshoot system issues, and ensure data quality and operational efficiency.
The position is on-site 2 days per week in Mather, CA
Wireless Network & Connectivity Support:

• Troubleshooting application performance over Wi-Fi (latency, downtime, access issues).
• Understanding of WLAN security (authentication, encryption, role-based access).

System Integration & Data Flow:

• Knowledge of HL7/XML messaging for healthcare interoperability.
• Experience with interface engines (Cloverleaf, Mirth, Rhapsody) for data exchange troubleshooting.

IT & Technical Support:

• Diagnosing system outages, application crashes, and access control issues.
• Familiarity with Active Directory, SSO, and role-based access permissions.
• Documenting troubleshooting workflows and system configurations.

Responsibilities:

Support application configuration, troubleshooting, and maintenance.
Monitor system performance, data integrity, and security.
Assist with implementation, validation, and testing of applications.
Work with teams to document workflows and optimize system use.
Maintain system configurations, user access, and reporting.
Qualifications:

Associate s degree in Computer Science, IT, or equivalent experience.
1 year of relevant experience in application support or healthcare IT.
Knowledge of HL7 and XML messaging standards.
Understanding of healthcare systems, integrations, and workflows.
Strong analytical and communication skills.
