Job Summary:
Responsible for the washing of company trucks, outside vehicles, and keeping the Maintenance Garage work area, Wash Bay, and grounds in clean and orderly condition and performing light maintenance.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Provide washing services to company and outside customers’ equipment as needed, applying the correct chemicals and cleaners.
- Assist in the maintenance and upkeep of the machinery, equipment, building and grounds on an as needed basis and as requested.
- Assists mechanic in preventative maintenance, light repairs, tire changes, and other duties as directed.
- Arranges boxes, materials, parts and/or other equipment in neat and orderly manner. Pick up/delver parts as needed.
- Clean and maintain company owned passenger vehicles.
- Assist all other employees and department as required for efficient garage operation.
- Provides a “Customer Service” attitude when interacting with internal and external customers while accomplishing work, production, and achieving quality standards.
- Conform with and abide by all regulations, policies, work procedures, instruction, and all safety requirements.
- Maintains a clean, orderly, and safe workstation/environment at all times.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Supervisory Responsibilities:
- This position has no supervisory responsibilities.
Education and Experience:
- Education: High School or Equivalent preferred
- Experience: three to six months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Ability to operate hand and power tools.
- Ability to drive a tractor-trailer a short distance.
- Basic math and communication skills.
- Ability to communicate effectively with co-workers and management.
- Ability to maintain good attendance habits.
- Abide by all relevant SOPs as per Company policy as they are related to the position covered by this Job Description.

Physical Demands and Work Environment:
- Regularly required to sit and talk or hear.
