Summary

Responsibilities
3-4 hours per day
1-6 days per week (based on availability and schedule needs)
Shift range from starting as early as 5:30am and ending as late as 8:30pm, Monday through Saturday
Schedule is flexible
Compensation
Range is from $12.60 - $14.76/hr. depending on years of relative work experience.
Replacement Position

Summary
Ensures the safety of patrons of an aquatic facility by preventing and responding to emergencies.
Responsibilities
- Maintain constant surveillance of patrons in the facility; act immediately and appropriately to secure safety of patrons in the event of emergency.
- Provide emergency care and treatment as required until the arrival of emergency medical services.
- Present professional appearance and attitude at all times and maintain a high standard of customer service.
- Perform various maintenance duties as directed to maintain a clear and safe facility.
- Prepare and maintain appropriate activity reports.
- American Red Cross CPF for the Professional Rescuer, or the equivalent.
- American Red Cross Lifeguard Training and First Aid, or the equivalent.
- Must be at least 15 years old.
- Must have at least six months experience or prove your competency in the duties and responsibilities specified.
- Ability to react calmly and effectively in emergency situations.
- Skill in the application of lifeguarding surveillance and rescue techniques.
- Ability to prepare routine administrative paperwork.
- Knowledge of CPR and emergency medical procedures.
- Ability to follow routine verbal and written instructions.
- Knowledge of customer service standards and procedures.
