What are the responsibilities and job description for the REVIT Designer position at Zehnder Rittling?
Job Summary
Zehnder Rittling is seeking a Designer to provide expertise in Revit software and support the design team on the implementation of Revit throughout several existing product lines. This position is currently a short-term opportunity to work full-time or part-time on this project.
Responsibilities
- Provides Revit expertise and technical support internally to help facilitate efficient production of files.
- Trains customers on technology and product application
- Works as part of team to accomplish company objectives.
- All other duties as assigned by the Manager.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Associates degree /vocational -technical education preferred.
- Minimum 2 years related experience -in sheetmetal- HVAC product knowledge.
- 2D CAD -design and drafting skills required- Knowledge of "Solidworks" software preferred. Knowledge of "Revit" software required
- Understanding of engineering documentation
Physical Demands:
- While performing functions of the job, the employee is regularly required to sit, talk, and hear. The employee is occasionally required to stand, walk.
- Ability to work on computer terminal for the majority of the workday is required.
- Vision requirement is close vision.
Work Environment:
- Majority of work is performed in a typical office setting, although moderate amount of Time is spent on manufacturing floor solving problems.
- The noise level in the work environment is generally low.
- Computer skills:
- Highly computer literate in current business software products. MS Excel required.
- Extensive experience with current CAD software - Revit required
