What are the responsibilities and job description for the Hotel Security Officer position at Zehnder's of Frankenmuth?
Work Performed:
1. Maintain a posted position at the entrance security desk along with the following:
a. Greet incoming guests and create positive connections to promote the “community policing” philosophy.
b. Make sure incoming waterpark guests have a valid wristband/ticket of entry.
c. Make sure incoming waterpark guests are not bringing in outside food, beverages, or glass.
d. Conduct bag inspections on incoming waterpark guests.
e. Remain observant of suspicious activity.
2. Enforce company rules, regulations, and policies.
3. Respond to emergency situations.
4. Document all security action in the form of case logs and/or case reports.
5. Testify in court.
6. Assist or facilitate assistance to guests who have questions, needs, or concerns.
7. Other unspecified tasks as it relates to security and safety.
Physical Requirements:
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Ability to sit and/or stand for long periods of time.
- Ability to push, pull, and lift 50 pounds.
Educational Requirements:
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
Other Requirements:
- Must possess a high level of character, integrity, and professionalism.
- Ability to interact with guests on a regular basis with high customer service standards.
- Ability to work in a fast pace, high stress work environment.
- Must be able to work weekends and holidays.
Must be able to pass First Aid and CPR certification.
