What are the responsibilities and job description for the Restaurant Housekeeping position at Zehnder's of Frankenmuth?
Reports to: Housekeeping Supervisor
Function: Cleaning or working in various areas per the housekeeping schedule or supervisor.
Work Performed:
- Cleans the interior public areas, including the dining rooms, restrooms and hallways.
- Cleans the exterior areas, including the front sidewalk, parking lots, and empties the trash cans.
- Banquet set-up, table arrangements, chairs, and audio-visual equipment.
- Sorting, shipping, and doing the in-house laundry.
- Snow shoveling.
- Cleans The Fortress and does the banquet setup.
- Polish hard floors and clean carpets.
- Wash windows
- Perform detail cleaning project as assigned.
- Other duties as assigned by management.
Physical Requirements: Must be able to walk and stand for extended periods of time. Lifting up to 50 lbs. regularly.
Education Requirements: High school diploma or equivalent. Basic mechanical knowledge to operate a pallet jack.
Other Requirements: Available to work weekends and holidays.
Age Requirement: Must be 18 years of age or older.
