Duties & Responsibilities
- Safely deliver automotive parts across the Wisconsin & Illinois area.
- Able to learn and demonstrate good customer service skills.
- Must have basic aptitude skills.
- Must be able to lift at least 75 lbs.
- Be able to climb ladders
- Pull items from high shelves
- Must pass pre-employment driving record screen and drug screen.
- Must maintain professional appearance and attitude
- Pick up and deliver parts and equipment to customers, satellite stores, wholesale accounts, and vendors.
- Coordinate last-minute deliveries or pick-ups with the parts team before leaving.
- Verify that invoices match purchase orders for each pick-up.
- Collect payments and ensure accuracy with invoices for each delivery.
- Maintain an accurate log of daily deliveries and obtain recipient signatures.
- Unload the truck each day and submit all paperwork and undelivered parts.
- Perform basic vehicle maintenance, such as refueling, oil checks, and cleanliness.
- Notify the parts manager of any major truck maintenance or repairs needed.
- Assist in keeping the parts department clean and organized.
- Support the service department with vehicle drop-offs and pick-ups as needed.
- Help stock and process incoming parts orders to facilitate timely delivery.
- Maintain a professional appearance and uphold company standards.
- Perform other assigned tasks as required.
