Line Cook
Duties & Responsibilities
- Setting up & stock stations with all necessary supplies
- Preparing food for service (chopping vegetables, preparing sauces, portioning foods, finishing all tasks completely, etc.)
- Cooking menu items in cooperation with the rest of the kitchen staff
- Answer, report & follow kitchen manager & general manager's instructions
- Clean up station & take care of leftover food
- Stock inventory appropriately
- Ensure that food comes out simultaneously, in high quality & in a timely fashion
- Comply with nutrition & sanitation regulations & safety standards
- Maintain a positive & professional approach with coworkers & customers
- Assist in extra cleaning projects to ensure restaurant is kept to standard
