Summary
Delivers and picks up parts and equipment for the dealership.

Essential Duties
- Load delivery vehicle with parcels scheduled for delivery.
- Picks up and delivers parts and equipment to customers, satellite stores, wholesale accounts, and vendors.
- Verifies that invoice matches purchase order for each pick-up.
- Checks payments received with the invoices for each delivery.
- Keeps an accurate log of daily deliveries and pick-ups. Requests recipient's signature on each delivery entry.
- Unloads vehicle each night. Turns in all paperwork and undelivered parts.
- Handles basic maintenance of the truck including filling the tank with gas, checking oil, keeping it clean and making sure required inspections are performed.
- Advises parts manager if delivery trucks need major repairs and maintenance.
- Help maintain the professional appearance of the parts vehicle and department.
- Assist with parts warehouse duties when route is completed.
- Maintains professional appearance.
- Other tasks as assigned.

- Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions

- Ability to plan delivery routes.
- Always remain professional and courteous.
- Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed instructions.
- Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of situations.
Physical Demands & Work Environment
- Must be able to lift objects up to 50 pounds.
- Must be able to load and unload packages without dollies in various types of weather.
- Must be able to enter and exit large vehicles.
- Must be able to drive for several hours per day.
- Must be able to work in low and high temperatures.
Certificates, Licenses, Registrations
- Valid Driver License
- Clear driving record.
Education and/or Experience
- High school diploma or equivalent.
Compensation & Benefits
- Full benefits package available to full-time employees.
- Full-time equates to 40 hours per week.
- Waiting period: 1st of the month following 50 days of employment.
