Shipping/Receiving & Parts Counter Clerk

Our Parts Department Shipping and Receiving Clerk is responsible for accurate receipt, storage and shipment of our automotive parts and products. This entry level position is part time, and parts experience and mechanical knowledge is a plus. Our ideal candidate should have attention to detail, organization skills, and a basic understanding of automotive parts and inventory systems.

Saturdays are required from 8am-2pm. The other days are flexible, part time hours throughout the week. Besides your organization & detail skills, you'll need to be a great communicator to our vendors and your team. You’ll also need the ability to lift up to 50 lbs, and be on your feet throughout the day.
Responsibilities
· Unload/inspect shipments for damage or discrepancies and report any issues to management.
· Verify the accuracy of shipments by cross-referencing with purchase orders and packing slips.
· Put parts away in correct inventory locations.
· Ensure shipments are properly labeled, with necessary documentation, and ready for dispatch.
· Coordinate with shipping carriers to scheduled pick-ups and deliveries.
· Assist in maintain inventory accuracy through regular stock checks, audits, and reconciliation.
· Maintain records of incoming and outgoing shipments in the inventory management system.
· Follow all the safety procedures for handling heavy parts, equipment, and chemicals.
· Perform any other duties assigned by management.
