Warehouse Associate

Mon 10AM – 6:30PM and Tues-Fri 9AM – 5:30PM

Job Summary:

The order selector will pick various pet related items to ship to retail stores. This is done using an RF scanner and a motorized stand on pallet jack. Order selector will use RF scanner navigate and palletize their order while traveling throughout the warehouse. Once the order is finished it will be placed on the appropriate wrapper to be wrapped or staged in the correct route lane to be loaded. This is a Monday - Friday full time position. 40hrs per week plus overtime on short notice.

Duties/Responsibilities:

Navigate safely through facility using a stand on pallet jack

• Pick store orders in a timely fashion
• Use RF scanner
• Clean up throughout the facility (trash, plastic, cardboard, kibble)
• Tape all torn bags, cans, or boxes
• Maintain a safe working environment
• Work in cold (freezer) picking and loading frozen products
• Perform any other warehouse duties that may be assigned to them throughout their shift

• Must have experience with stand on pallet jack
• Must have previous RF/WMS experience
• Ability to take direction
• Ability to take initiative
• Ability to function well in a high-paced and at times stressful environment.
• Ability to sometimes be in a cold environment for long periods of time.

Education and Experience:

High school diploma or equivalent.

Stand on pallet jack experience

Turn table wrapper experience

RF Scanner and WMS

Physical Requirements:

Prolonged periods of standing

Prolonged periods of cold environment

Must be able to lift 1 - 50 pounds repeatedly throughout the shift

Walking, standing, bending, twisting, lifting

Other Duties:

The order selector will be required to work in the freezer in 0–15-degree conditions. There will be some overtime required with short notice. Order selectors may be asked to help with loading from time to time (trucks or if a customer comes in for a pickup). It is also their responsibility to help maintain a safe, clean and organized work environment in the facility. Duties, responsibilities, and activities may change at any time with or without notice.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.00 per hour
