- Collaborate with Business Partners : Work hand-in-hand with R&D teams and other business partners to craft annual budgets and operational forecasts that align with our ambitious goals. - Drive Financial Analysis and Monitoring : Analyze financial information to effectively monitor and forecast R&D expenses. You'll prepare financial analyses that support product and capital investment decisions, ensuring we're always aligned with our business objectives.
- Simplify Complex Data : Dive deep into financial data, translating complex information into clear, simplified messages that resonate with business management. Your ability to present these insights will be key in driving efficiencies and influencing results across the organization.
- Project-Level Focus : Emphasize project-level budgeting, resource planning, and rationalizing R&D investments to ensure optimal allocation of resources.
- Create Impactful Presentations : Develop engaging presentations for top management that highlight financial performance, trends, and opportunities for improvement. Your knack for storytelling with data will help shape our strategic direction.
- Enhance Operational Effectiveness : Participate in initiatives aimed at improving efficiencies in supported functional areas. You'll provide ongoing analytical support, including trend analysis and what-if scenarios, to help drive impactful changes.
- Own Data Management : Gather data from financial systems (e.g., SAP / ERP, SAP / BW) for analysis, ensuring you have the insights needed to make informed decisions.
- Produce Ad Hoc Analysis : Be proactive in producing ad hoc analyses and reports as required, using your analytical strengths to drive business changes in collaboration with management. Do you qualify? What You Bring :
- A Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field; an MBA or relevant certification (CFA, CPA) is a plus.
- 8 years of relevant experience in finance
- A minimum of 5 years of financial planning and analysis experience, preferably within the healthcare or diagnostics industry.
- Proven ability to quickly master new challenges in untapped areas, acquiring a solid understanding of technical, product, and solution-related elements.
- Strong proficiency in financial modeling, forecasting, and budgeting techniques.
- Advanced skills in financial software and tools (e.g., SAP, Excel, ERP systems).
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a keen attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills, capable of presenting complex financial information clearly and engagingly to diverse audiences.
- A self-driven mindset with a passion for influencing results and driving impactful changes.
