Zelle HR Solutions is hiring for a a multi-discipline architectural/engineering firm, located in Columbus, NE. We have an immediate opening for an Architectural CAD Technician/ Project Manager to work within the Architectural Department.
Responsibilities and Duties
- Prepare scale drawings of a wide range of building types, including industrial, commercial, and educational building projects, encompassing new construction, additions, and renovations.
- Manage client contact for specific projects coordinating with chief Architect.
- Make field measurements and documentation of existing conditions.
- Create construction drawing sets for various projects.
- Some research of building codes, building materials, construction costs.
- Some document reproduction / printing and copying.
- May include correspondence and collaboration with mechanical, electrical, structural and civil engineering consultants.
- May include opportunity for construction administration phase site observation.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Accredited Associates degree preferred (2 year college or technical school)
- Two to three years of experience using AutoCAD / Revit software.
- Three to five years' experience with construction project management. (Being involved in the actual construction work or management process)
- Familiarity with BIM (Revit) and proficiency in Sketch-up is a plus.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office (Excel and Word) software.
- Strong to excellent keyboarding skills
- Work experience in an architectural firm is a plus.
- Strong oral, written and graphic communication skills.
- Basic construction knowledge.
- Detail oriented.
- Team player.
