Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Payroll Administrator who shares our commitment to excellence and relationships. In this role, you will be responsible for reviewing and processing weekly payroll. This position will report to the Accounting Supervisor.
Key Responsibilities:
· Review and process weekly payroll;
· Manage withholdings, federal and state payroll tax deposits and returns;
· Submit monthly union payroll reports and issue union benefit payments;
· Maintain accurate records of employee data;
· Process garnishments, levies, and benefit deductions as applicable;
· Stay up to date on applicable payroll related legal regulations;
· Additional Responsibilities as assigned by manager.
Required Qualifications:
· Experience: 3 years experience in payroll administration. Union payroll experience preferred.
· Education: Associates degree in accounting or similar field or equivalent education and experience.
· Software Proficiency: Proficient in Microsoft Office. Ability to utilize new software and systems.
· Task Management: Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
· Team Player: Self-motivated, proactive, and an effective team player.
· Attention to Detail: Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
