Oak Haven, a mobile home community located in Plymouth, MI, is looking for a full-time Maintenance Technician. This position performs routine and preventative maintenance, rehab, and landscape work to maintain the physical integrity of the community. Oak Haven is a division of Zeman Homes.

Essential Job Description
- Ensures the community is presentable and inviting, and that it adheres to Zeman’s Community Appearance standards.
- Inspects and completes routine maintenance and minor repairs to facilities, streets, and vehicles.
- Rehabs and maintains used and leased homes.
- Ensures common area lawns are manicured appropriately. Regularly performs lawn care services and services needed to maintain flower/shrub beds.
- Cleans and maintains community buildings and maintenance garage. Maintains vacant sites.
- Performs various plumbing tasks.
- Removes snow from community streets, parking lots, building entrances.
Requirements
- Previous grounds and maintenance experience preferred.
- Ability to endure seasonal temperatures as working conditions require constant outdoor work.
- Valid driver’s license and good driving record.
- General knowledge of janitorial work, plumbing, electrical and grounds maintenance.
- Proficient skills in operating various hand tools, power equipment.
- Ability to walk, climb, stand, sit, and lift up to 50 pounds.
- Ability to provide legible written reports.
- Prior snow removal experience preferred.
- Availability to respond to community needs during non-business hours.
- Excellent customer service skills.
