** LOCATION: Onsite Role | Client Location: 260 Logistics Avenue Jeffersonville IN 47130
** DURATION: 4-month assignment with the possibility of extension
** WORK SCHEDULE:
- Monday 9:00am-7:30pm
- Tuesday - Friday 10am-7:30pm
- Saturday 12:00pm-8:30pm (Rotational weekday off)
Pay Rate: $18.95/hr. W2
Responsibilities:
- We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Pharmacy Technician to join our team at client As a Pharmacy Technician, you will play a crucial role in assisting our licensed pharmacists in providing high-quality pharmaceutical care to our patients. You will work in a fast-paced and customer-focused environment, ensuring the safe and efficient dispensing of medications while adhering to all relevant laws and regulations.
- Prepare and label prescription medications for dispensing.
- Measure, count, and package medications according to prescription orders.
- Replenish medication in automated cells to full capacity, opening large quantities of bottles and
- cases of product.
- Ensure the proper labeling and instructions for patient use on medication containers.
- Maintain an organized and clean dispensing area.
- Conduct regular stock rotation to prevent expiration of medications.
- Adhere to all federal, state, and local pharmacy laws and regulations.
- Maintain patient confidentiality and HIPAA compliance at all times.
- Assist in record-keeping and documentation of prescription and medication-related information.
Job Requirements:
- Education: High School diploma
- Indiana Pharmacy Technician License
- Previous pharmacy experience
- Able to select and lift objects from shelves and carry to order filling line.
- Able to consistently carry 20 – 30 lbs. of merchandise short distances and 15 lbs. of merchandise on an extended basis from order filling station to conveyor.
- Must be able to walk and stand throughout the entire shift.
- Basic math, reading and writing skills required.
Job Types: Full-time, Contract
Pay: Up to $18.95 per hour
