Facilities Manager

Notes:

• Work Schedule: Mon - Fri (8:00am start time - completion of business). Weekend work as needed for business needs.
• Position is Onsite.
• Climate Controlled Facility.

Description:

• Looking for an experienced Facilities Manager to work alongside Operation Leaders and the Director to ensure building and grounds are clean and safe.
• The facilities manager oversees all aspects of building functions and guarantees the safety and functionality of all facilities.
• Duties include running routine safety inspections, corresponding with contractors, planning maintenance work, maintaining records, and supervising facilities staff.
• Ensure all building facilities adhere to proper safety standards and cleaning procedures.
• Maintain equipment and building provisions to meet health and safety requirements.
• Organize and plan building installments and refurbishments.
• Supervise facilities staff and communicate with external contractors and vendors.
• Keep building and all facilities up to code and accurately follow quality/regulatory protocols.
• Delegate cleaning and maintenance responsibilities to team members.
• Run routine maintenance inspections.
• Monitor interior and exterior areas of building.
• Troubleshooting and repairs of equipment use in a distribution environment.

Qualifications:

• An ideal candidate well-versed in facilities management processes and exhibits high multitasking and organizational skills.
• Be able to stand, walk and climb stairs for up to 8-10 hours a day and worked extended hours as needed.
• Advanced mechanical and plumbing skills.
• Experience with automation & electro-mechanical mechanical systems including PLC and control systems.
• Knowledge of HVAC and other building systems.
• Ability to lift heavy objects and do other labor-intensive tasks.
• Exposure to electrical & mechanical systems to include generators, PLCs, wrap machines, MDR/spiral conveyor systems, HVAC, refrigeration.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience leading a team of technicians.
• Experience planning and maintaining facility budgets.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Professional leadership experience.

Job Types: Full-time, Contract

Pay: $45.00 - $52.00 per hour

Expected hours: 50 per week
