ZEN Associates, Inc. is a Design Build firm providing landscape architecture, interior design, construction, and maintenance services. You will be a key member of the design team collaborating with other designers, construction professionals and horticulturist on every project, approaching each project from every angle. Our projects are diverse and interesting, many of them include both interior and exterior spaces.
This position will support our Landscape Architecture practice by providing site planning, urban and landscape design, and graphic and technical production. Project experiences will be diverse, as we provide services to both the public and private sectors. Projects include residential estates, urban gardens, rooftop gardens and commercial premises throughout the Northeast seaboard for a variety of great clients.
We are searching for a Landscape Architect/Designer with 3 years of experience working in a landscape architecture firm. The right person will share our vision and possess the following skills:
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, ability to build strong client relationships
- Excellent design and graphic skills, and ability to generate and articulate design concepts and solutions;
- Able to communicate with entire design/build team in a fast-paced office environment;
- Able to assemble and develop construction packages for a variety of project types;
- Solid plant knowledge;
- Proficiency with InDesign, AutoCAD, InDesign, Sketch-up, Microsoft Office Suite, and Photoshop and at least one high end rendering software
