Job Description
Overview
Zen Educate is looking for full-time Behavior Technicians / Therapists to support K-12 special education students. In this role, you will work alongside licensed teachers and behavioral specialists to assist students with behavioral interventions, data collection, and personalized support—delivered either on a one-to-one basis or in small group settings. This position is for the school year and offers a competitive hourly rate with a Monday-to-Friday schedule and no weekend work.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist licensed staff in the classroom by helping implement academic adaptations and individualized education plans (IEPs).
- Work with students individually or in small groups to support their self-care and social / behavioral needs.
- Maintain a classroom environment that is safe and conducive to learning.
- Provide timely support for students in crisis situations.
- Utilize a variety of learning methods to enhance student engagement and learning outcomes.
